The Starter Kit is the fundamental, entry level kit for classroom demonstration of Quantum Levitation and Flux Pinning. Perfect for high-school students as well as university undergraduates; the kit is easy to use, highly durable and portable.

Use the rectangle magnets to witness 3D Quantum Locking  and the ring magnetic setup to demonstrate frictionless motion.
The Starter kit can be used with our Ed-Levitators as a unique experimentation platform for quantum phenomena such as the Meissner effect and flux pinning.

The Starter Kit comes with:

  • Handheld magnetic device
  • Medium/Large Quantum Levitator* 
  • Plastic tweezers
  • User manual

*Levitators come in various flavors:

  • Standard, able to carry only their own weight (+ liquid nitrogen)
  • Ed, able to carry only their own weight + a platinum resistance thermometer for an accurate temperature measurement
  • Enhanced, with additional superconducting material. Able to carry a payload of up to 200gr.
