What quantumlevitation.com collects when you browse, enquire or order, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights. Last updated 3 October 2026.

Who we are

quantumlevitation.com is operated by Quantum Experience Ltd., Hamada 1, Rehovot 7670301, Israel (“Quantum”, “we”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: [email protected].

What we collect, and why

Orders. When you buy from the store we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, company or institution name, and the products you ordered. We use this to process and ship your order, to send order confirmations and shipping updates, to issue invoices, to handle returns and warranty claims, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Institutional orders may also involve purchase-order numbers, tax-exemption certificates and W-8BEN-E or similar forms, which we keep with the order record.

Payments. Card payments are processed by PayMe (Invoice4U clearing) and PayPal payments by PayPal. Your card number is entered on the processor’s secure page and never reaches or is stored on our servers; we receive only a transaction reference, the amount and the approval status. Bank-transfer details you send us by email are used only to match your payment to your order.

Enquiries and quotes. When you use a contact or quote form, email us, or chat with us, we collect what you type (typically your name, email address, institution and your question) so that we can reply. We keep enquiry correspondence while the enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it.

Newsletter. If you opt in, we store your email address and name with MailerLite to send you news about products and teaching resources. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us to be removed.

Account and social sign-in. If you create an account, or sign in with Google or Facebook, we store your name, email address and the identifier the sign-in provider gives us, so that you can see your order history and check out faster. We do not post to your social accounts.

Abandoned carts. If you enter your email address at checkout and do not complete the order, we may send you one or two reminder emails about the items left in your cart. Each reminder has an unsubscribe link.

Site analytics. We measure how the site is used so that we can improve it. Our primary analytics (Weaver) runs without cookies and without building a profile of you: it records pages viewed, the referring site, approximate country, browser type and the events on the page, and it cannot identify you personally. Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel are loaded only if you accept them in the cookie banner; what they set and how long it lasts is listed in our cookie policy.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser and requested page of every visit in server logs, used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and retained for a short period.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only what each needs: our web host (Bluehost) and content delivery network; payment processors (PayMe / Invoice4U, PayPal); shipping carriers and customs brokers (FedEx, DHL, UPS, Israel Post or their agents), who receive your name, address, phone number and the customs declaration for the parcel; our email and newsletter providers (MailerLite, and our transactional mail service); our chat provider (Crisp); and, with your consent, Google and Meta for analytics and advertising measurement. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to tax authorities or in response to a lawful request.

International transfers

We are based in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Some of our providers process data in the United States or elsewhere; where that happens, the provider is bound by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Israeli tax and accounting law requires (currently seven years). Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years after the last exchange. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Analytics data from our cookie-free analytics contains no personal identifiers; consented Google Analytics data is kept on the retention period shown in the cookie policy.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the GDPR, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time (for example by changing your cookie settings from the footer link). Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Children

Our kits are used in classrooms, but the store is intended for adults, teachers and institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to order data is limited to staff who need it, and payment card data is handled only by our PCI-compliant payment processors.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will also tell registered customers by email.
