Superconductor Critical Temperature (Tc) experiment

Measuring the critical temperature (Tc) of a superconductor requires:

• A 4-point setup with accurate temperature readings
• Measurement equipment – Current source, voltmeter, Ohmmeter and data logger

This kit includes both:
4-point setup that contains a high-Tc superconductor Bi-2223 bar with four contact points. Four wires connect to the superconductor allowing both a 4-wire and 2-wire resistance measurements.

The measurement unit (MTU) includes all the needed devices.
